Here I created a simulation if how a combustion engine works. It has a mix of flash and 3DS Max work and turned out pretty good. Mainly used ambient occlusion.

This vehicle was a post to be a low poly model but end up being high poly. It is an animation demonstrating how the vehicle works while showing of good lighting. I used some blue prints I found to create the inside components.

Nakajin Capsule Tower

This is the Nakajin Capsule Tower in Tokyo Japan for a senior exterior assignment. The reason I chose to create a model after the Capsule Tower was simply because of the architecture. Once I found the resource image, it caught my eye and found many more images. I made sure to try to be as exact as I could with this model and liked the way it turned out. I really enjoyed this one.

Final Fantasy 10: Aaron's Sword

For all you Final Fantasy fans out there this is Aaron's Sword, one of my favorite characters throughout the series which it what inspired me to create this sword. It didn't take too long but I had some trouble with the very top part.

This is the construction vehicle model of the Skytrak forklift 6042 model. I created this to look exactly like the photo. The top is the finished version. Notice that the finished animation has different lighting, softer shadows, and as well as ambient acclusion added to the car paint texture giving even shadows between the objects on the Skytrak forklift and adding grain/noise as well. I like the way it turned out.

Interior Kitchen

This kitchen image is called the mia_arancio. The top is final render I modeled and textured based from the original image. The bottom is the original image. I also tried to base the lighting form the original but some of the lighting is weird. I need to work with it.

The car model was provided. I created the textures and lighting but also had to work with reflection using self-illuminated planes. A short project.



FSU Michigan Adventures Project: Corkscrew Motor

This is a model of the Michigan Adventures Corkscrew Engine. This was a volunteer project. I put more work than needed into making it look exactly like the photos. The textures weren't that great so I render it without them with improved lighting.

Working with Texture and Lighting

This is where I worked with texture and lighting. The models were provided and I created and applied the textures. I used Mental Ray and Standard Scanline.
